Horse riding leggings with and without grip

HORSE Spirit horse riding leggings are the comfortable foundation of a rider’s wardrobe for schooling, hacking and the show ring. They fit like a second skin, with nothing bunching under half chaps, and the high-rise waist is cut for a woman’s figure. Choose women’s riding leggings with a full-seat grip, grip-free leggings for everyday riding, or kids’ leggings for hobby horsing. The grip styles are Czech-designed.

Full-seat grip or no grip: how to choose riding tights

Grip leggings have a non-slip seat area that helps you feel secure and stable in the saddle. The black training leggings with full grip have a high waist and a phone pocket on the left thigh. For autumn and winter there are insulated black leggings with a full-seat grip, combining warmth with confidence on every ride.

Grip-free leggings from the HS and HS RIDE lines are made of a stretchy fabric, with a high waist and a phone pocket on the right thigh that stays out of the way when you move. The HS leggings and the beige HS RIDE, designed by Czech designer Monika Vaverová, are brushed on the inside; the summer HS RIDE S uses a light, breathable fabric.

For competitions, the white show leggings have a full-seat grip and subtle gold details (78 % polyester, 22 % elastane). They wash easily and the grip keeps holding. Young riders can choose the Hobby horsing and Hobby horsing Show leggings in a soft, stretchy, breathable fabric.

What to wear with riding leggings

On warm days, pair your leggings with light sleeveless riding tops with breathable side panels; in spring and autumn reach for long-sleeved riding tops or a thermal top. When it turns cold, add a quilted riding vest or hybrid jacket. For a show day, team white leggings with an elegant riding bodysuit or put together a full look from our show riding clothing. How to wash grip leggings so they last

Turn your leggings inside out and wash them at a low temperature without fabric conditioner, which coats both the grip and the stretch fabric. Skip the tumble dryer and the radiator and let them dry naturally. Wash white show leggings separately to keep them bright.

Riding leggings FAQ

Which size should I choose? The show and winter grip leggings come in sizes XS–L, and the kids’ leggings in XXS–S for heights of 128–158 cm. Measure your waist and hips and compare them with the size guide. Leggings should fit snugly without pinching anywhere.

Can I wear grip-free leggings away from the yard? Yes, the HS and HS RIDE lines are comfortable for other sports and everyday wear too.

What if they do not fit? You can exchange them for another size or return them within 30 days of delivery.
